Coordinators of the V2SDF Erasmus+ project, Elena from IES La Merced and Dr. Dieudonné Nimubona Rukundo from NIRUDI, recently held a strategic meeting with Ir. Avit Nsengiyumva, the newly appointed General Director of Vocational Education and Training (VET) at the Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research of Burundi.

This productive discussion focused on strengthening collaboration to enhance vocational training frameworks and sustainability efforts aligned with the project’s objectives. The engagement underlines the commitment of all parties to support innovation and capacity building within Burundi’s VET sector.

We look forward to working closely with the Ministry under Ir. Nsengiyumva’s leadership to ensure impactful outcomes for youth empowerment and environmental sustainability through technical education.
