We are pleased to announce that the V2SDF – VET To Stop Deforestation project was formally presented to Mr. Gaudence Sindayigaya, Director General in charge of Multilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation, Republic of Burundi.

This strategic initiative aims to leverage Vocational Education and Training (VET) as a key tool to combat deforestation in Burundi by promoting sustainable environmental practices and strengthening local capacities.

Engagement with governmental authorities such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation is crucial to ensure effective multilateral collaboration and alignment with national development priorities.

The project presentation marks an important milestone toward fostering institutional partnerships and mobilizing support to implement practical solutions addressing deforestation challenges in the region.

We look forward to advancing this collaboration for sustainable environmental stewardship and community empowerment in Burundi.
