CIFP Someso Partners Finalize Solar Ovens for Training in Burundi

On July 1, 2024, partners at CIFP Someso completed the assembly of five wooden solar ovens, set to be transported disassembled to Burundi as part of an educational initiative. These ovens, designed for easy assembly and transport, will serve as training tools for local teachers involved in the V2SDF project, enabling hands-on learning and skill development in sustainable cooking technology.

The solar ovens represent a practical step in promoting eco-friendly solutions that reduce reliance on traditional fuel sources. By providing this training in Burundi, CIFP Someso aims to empower local educators with the knowledge to build and use solar cookers, spreading sustainable practices within their communities. This initiative highlights the project’s dedication to fostering environmental awareness and practical skills in renewable energy, supporting a greener, more sustainable future.
