On July 11, as part of the V2SDF project, an outreach event was held in Bujumbura featuring an exhibition of solar cookers. The exhibition highlighted the potential of solar cooking, with Burundian teachers participating in the project serving as guides, sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for this sustainable technology.

This public showcase provided an excellent opportunity for the local community to learn about the benefits of solar cookers and see them in action. The Burundian teachers guided visitors through the exhibit, explaining the functionality and environmental advantages of solar cooking. The event demonstrated the project’s commitment to spreading awareness of renewable energy solutions and empowering local educators to take a leading role in sustainability.
