Innovative Design for Solar cookers and solar Ovens Workshop

As part of the V2SDF Project, the design of the solar cookers and solar oven manufacturing workshop is carefully addressing practical challenges, such as smoke extraction during welding. To solve this issue, an outdoor space adjacent to the workshop is being prepared specifically for welding activities.

In the photo, we see Radac and Dr. Dieudonné working together to prepare welding screens. These screens will be installed to create designated and protected welding areas in the outdoor space. This approach ensures both safety and efficiency, providing a well-ventilated environment for welding while maintaining a secure workspace for all participants.

The inclusion of outdoor welding spaces reflects the project’s commitment to safety, environmental considerations, and innovative problem-solving. It also demonstrates the collaborative efforts of the team to overcome logistical challenges and optimize the workshop’s functionality.

This workshop will play a key role in training individuals to manufacture solar cookers and solar ovens, empowering local communities with sustainable solutions. By addressing challenges like smoke extraction and prioritizing safety, the V2SDF team is setting a strong example of how thoughtful design can support impactful development initiatives. Together, they are building a future where sustainable energy solutions become accessible and practical for everyone.
