Project Impact: Agatha’s Story
Agatha, a third-year student at the Polytechnic School of Gitega, discovered the V2SDF project during an outreach event and quickly became an inspiring example of its impact. She began using her FB 56 solar cooker to prepare meals, which she now sells at the local market, creating a sustainable source of income.
Beyond her entrepreneurial efforts, Agatha has also taken her solar cooker to a school where she volunteers, teaching children about renewable energy and the benefits of solar cooking. Her dedication to sharing knowledge and promoting sustainability embodies the core mission of the V2SDF project: empowering individuals to adopt eco-friendly practices that benefit their communities.
Agatha’s story highlights how the project is fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and environmental awareness, making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
