Radac, a dedicated partner in the V2SDF project, has created Burundi’s very first solar cooker using a parabolic antenna. This innovative solar cooker is a breakthrough for sustainable energy solutions in the region, as it utilizes sunlight to generate heat for cooking—no fuel or electricity required. By harnessing solar power, Radac’s design aims to reduce reliance on traditional cooking fuels, which can harm both health and the environment.

Beyond this cooker, Radac has also developed a prototype for a solar oven, further advancing eco-friendly cooking alternatives. These pioneering models highlight the potential for renewable energy applications in everyday life and serve as inspiration for future sustainable projects in Burundi and beyond.
