On July 10, 2024, the third day of the V2SDF event in Bujumbura, the solar cookers were fully assembled and ready for use. Taking advantage of the sunny day, participants cooked beans using solar power to serve around 50 people, showcasing the effectiveness of this eco-friendly technology.

This practical demonstration was a highlight of the event, allowing attendees to witness firsthand the power of renewable energy in daily life. The successful use of the solar cookers not only provided a sustainable cooking solution but also underscored the project’s commitment to promoting environmentally friendly practices.
