V2SDF Project Presented at ASEERCA Virtual Conference in Mexico

On April 30, 2024, Juan Bello presented the V2SDF project at a virtual conference organized by the Association of Renewable Energy Specialists for Food Conservation (ASEERCA) in Mexico. His talk, titled “Cooking with the Sun: An Educational and Economic Resource for Sustainability,” highlighted the project’s innovative use of solar cooking technologies.

During the conference, Bello showcased how solar cookers serve as both a teaching tool and a sustainable economic solution, particularly in addressing deforestation and improving public health in Burundi. The presentation emphasized the educational impact of integrating renewable energy into vocational training, inspiring attendees to adopt similar practices.

The event provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and raised awareness about the V2SDF project’s mission to foster global sustainability through education and renewable energy solutions.
