V2SDF Project Presented at Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore College of Engineering, Dhule

 

On April 4, 2024, the V2SDF project was introduced at Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore College of Engineering in Dhule, Maharashtra. Elena Castrillo and Juan Bello engaged with the college’s engineering department, faculty, and students to showcase the project’s innovative approach to integrating sustainability into education.

The presentation focused on how the V2SDF project leverages solar cooking technologies to address deforestation and health challenges, particularly in Burundi. Attendees explored the engineering principles behind the solar cookers and discussed their environmental and social impact.
