V2SDF Project Presented at the II Occupational Health Conference in Gran Canaria
On January 18, 2024, at the II Occupational Health Conference organized by the FOL department of IES Noroeste in Santa María de Guía (Gran Canaria), Juan Bello delivered an inspiring presentation about the V2SDF project.
During his talk, titled “Health and Ecology in Construction: Bioconstruction. An Experience at CIFP Someso”, Bello introduced solar cookers as a sustainable alternative to mitigate the health and environmental impacts of cooking with firewood or charcoal, particularly in Burundi.
The presentation captivated the audience, including teachers, students, and other attendees, showcasing how solar cooking can contribute to improving public health and reducing deforestation. This initiative aligns with the V2SDF project’s mission to promote renewable energy and sustainable practices through education and innovation.
