On June 8, 2024, during the International Acampa Meeting for Peace and the Right to Refuge in A Coruña, Juan Bello had the honor of presenting the V2SDF project to the Spanish Minister of Youth and Childhood. The presentation took place during her visit to the solar cooker exhibition showcased at the event.

Bello highlighted the project’s mission to promote sustainability through the use of solar cookers, which serve as practical tools to reduce deforestation and improve health in communities like those in Burundi. The minister expressed great interest in how this initiative integrates renewable energy into vocational education, fostering both environmental and social impact.
