V2SDF Project Presented at the Regional Community Science Centre in Vadodara

 

On March 29, 2024, the V2SDF project was presented at the Regional Community Science Centre in Vadodara, Gujarat. Elena Castrillo and Juan Bello introduced the project to the center’s leadership team, educators, and solar cooking specialists, highlighting its innovative approach to integrating sustainable practices into vocational education.

The presentation focused on the project’s mission to promote solar cooking as a solution to deforestation and health issues associated with traditional cooking methods, particularly in Burundi. The audience showed keen interest in the practical applications of solar technology and its potential to inspire similar initiatives in their own communities.
