The I.E.S. La Merced is a public school located in the city of Valladolid in C/ de la Merced nº 8; a central area and well connected by public transport.

It comes from the old "Escuela de Maestría Industrial" (later "Instituto Politécnico") of long activity and recognised prestige.

At present, it offers the following courses:

E.S.O., which has a bilingual programme in English.
Baccalaureate: Scientific, Technological, Humanities and Social Sciences and the Baccalaureate of Research/Excellence in Social Sciences and Humanities.
Vocational Training Cycles in the traditional professional families in this centre: Electricity, Electronics, Mechatronics, Building and Civil Engineering.
